I met Kelsey and Cam at the first wedding I photographed in Peoria 5 years ago (Cam’s sister Andrea). This wedding meant a lot to me. Kelsey, a sweet, beautiful blonde, glowing with sunshine has always been so easy to talk to and she is SO in love with Cam. And Cam, a handsome, intelligent young man, is such a gentleman and is SO in love with Kelsey. And I love their families. So this was an honor and a treat to photograph.
Jack and Ben make the best golf partners. Nothing is better than a brother for adding some excitement to summer golf.
Betsy has big, beautiful brown eyes and a huge smile to show off her new 8 teeth. And she is one of my daughter’s best friends (at the age of 9 months).
She tried watermelon for the first time during her photos.
I have a thing for red heads….I think they are super special!! And a red headed baby, even more special. Little Liam (not so little anymore) is 9 months old and has fire engine red hair and a smile that can melt your heart.
Amazing June wedding!! Loved all the beautiful details and enthusiasm for the wedding day.
Although rain has been in the forecast for all June weddings so far this year, Jenny embraced it…barefoot for the ceremony and in pink rain boots for the photos. The small country chapel was filled with crisp white origami and the smell of fresh rain.
Beth Maxwell, from Save the Date Peoria, did an absolutely fantastic job (as usual) with all the details and elegant atmosphere at the ceremony and reception.
Ann and Rich have to be one of the happiest couples I have ever photographed. They were just so happy that it makes you smile every time you are around them. And even the tornado cruising through downtown Peoria as their reception started did not waiver their happiness together. Nothing else describes the day better– pure joy– and I smile every time I look at their photos.
My poor, neglected blog….I am back. I am so sorry it has been so long. Between facebook updates (become a fan of Nellie Photography), weddings, newborns, kids, families and my own 9-month-old baby blessing, this blog has not had much of my time. But….we are in the middle of a blog redesign which will hopefully be premiering later this summer.
In the meantime, Steph and Nathan had a gorgeous wedding last month in Peoria. Stephanie was simply stunning and beautiful. And she demonstrated her true love for her new husband during the vows during their wedding ceremony when Nathan almost had a minor fainting incident. Poised and calm, Stephanie lovingly supported Nathan as they promised their vows to each other.
I need to show some more “love” on here. Sorry it has been neglected. It has been SO busy with lots of photo shoots and chasing an 8-month-old “newbie” crawler around (so much FUN). Enjoy these new moments!
