The blog is BACK!! I am going to try to post a new photo session everyday now....I am SO behind on updating the blog that it might take a while to catch up. We had some of the best photo sessions this fall. It has been extremely busy and crazy fun. I am so blessed to have such wonderful clients, friends and family. I have a lot to be thankful for!

Hopefully "some of you" will still check the blog although it has been neglected for sometime. We are in the midst of the busiest season and designing some very unique Christmas cards.

Like I mentioned, I cannot wait to share all the photo stories and little pieces of life I have been able to capture the past 8 weeks....

So I am going to start with some football- nothing is better than a fall family football team. 5 boys and 1 very lucky sister.

There are people in the world that you meet and immediately feel a connection and form a friendship with. That is Mike and Stefanie- they are one of the warmest, most caring couples that I have been blessed to photograph and become friends with. They have a beautiful son, Liam, 6-years-old, and adorable 3-month-old daughter, Claire.

And up until 6 weeks ago, they were busy enjoying life just like everyone else with the blessing of a new baby and preparing for the new school year. Then Mike was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Now they are fighting that cancer, while still counting their blessings in life and remaining strong.

Friends of Mike and Stefanie organized a special walk "A Mile for Mike" this Sunday, October 19th, at Notre Dame High School from 1p.m.- 4 p.m.  Please come out to show your support for the family. Monetary donations and gift cards are helping the family through this difficult time.

Her business, Marigold, was inspired by a friend going through Chemo treatments for breast cancer and now Callie is giving back-- through donations from the sales to cancer survivors and cancer foundations.

So I am a little late posting this "fall special" we have running to benefit the Peoria Playhouse (an interactive children's museum soon to be built at Glen Oak Park).

I am VERY limited on sessions left for the remainder of 2008. So I have decided to continue this special promotion for the Playhouse in January and February with fun winter photos (and allow clients to substitute for the Holiday cards). Sessions still need to be booked for January and February in the next few weeks!
